Compilation of Income Tax updates dated 20th May 2021

CBDT has extended various due dates for filing of returns :

- Statement of Financial Transactions (SFT) for the Financial Year 2020-21 is extended from 31st May, 2021 to 30th June, 2021

- Statement of TDS Return for the quarter ended March 2021 is extended from 31st May, 2021 to 30th June, 2021

- Due date of furnishing of Return of Income (Non Audit Case) for the AY 2021-22 is extended from 31st July, 2021 to 30th September, 2021

- Due date of furnishing of Tax Audit Report (TAR) for the FY 2020-21 is extended from 30th September, 2021 to 31st October, 2021

- Due date of furnishing of Return of Income for the AY 2021-22 which is 31st October, 2021, is extended to 30th November, 2021

- Due date for submission of belated/revised return for A.Y 2021-22 is extended from 31st December, 2021 to 31st January, 2022
